George Floyd, 46, died on May 25, 2020 after Derek Chauvin, a white police officer involved in his arrest in Minneapolis kneeled on his neck for almost 9 minutes while Floyd was handcuffed and laying face down, begging for his life and repeatedly saying “I can't breathe”. The death of George Floyd has triggered protests across the U.S and around the world with people taking to the streets against police brutality and racism. In Warsaw - Poland's capital, a few hundred people gathered in front of the U.S embassy on June 6, 2020 to protest against police brutality and racism and to show solidarity with the protesters in the U.S.
